Originally created as an in-house supplier show at Volkswagen (VW) headquarters, the Internationale Zuliefererbörse (IZB), www.izb-online.com has become Germany’s leading international automotive supplier trade fair. Held biennially in Wolfsburg, Germany, IZB utilizes the partner country approach common to large German trade fairs.
In 2018, the theme is “Think Digital” focusing on technological innovations in the vehicle. IZB organizers have reorganized the trade halls. The Canadian Pavilion will now be housed in Hall 4 (Automotive Clusters). APMA is again working with our colleagues at the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario on this initiative. Canada has the opportunity to continue to demonstrate its strength in the automotive supplier industry and present itself as an investment destination and R&D partner. The 2018 IZB is expected to draw over 700 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors.
