What exactly is the APMA?
The APMA is Canada’s national association representing OEM producers of parts, equipment, tools, supplies, advanced technology, and services for the worldwide automotive industry.
The Association was founded in 1952 and its members account for 90% of independent parts production in Canada. In 2018, automotive parts shipments were over $35 Billion and the industry employment level was over 100,000 people. Learn more
How many members does the APMA have?
The answer varies from year to year. However, generally, the APMA’s membership usually has between 250-300 members, both Regular and Associate.
How do I become a member?

If I join the APMA, will you provide me with contact information of all your members?
While the APMA does provide opportunities for networking for all our members, we will not assist in broad-scope telemarketing-like activities. We are not a re-marketing group. However, it should be noted that all our member companies and other organizations are listed on our Members Directory. Companies looking to do their own outreach are allowed and encouraged to do so. If your outreach activities prove to be bothersome to the membership at large, you will need to adjust your activities accordingly.
How much does a membership cost?
The yearly cost of an APMA membership is determined by the Canadian revenue generated by your company. International revenue from foreign divisions are not counted towards the total cost of your company’s membership. A pricing schedule can be downloaded here. (Link to come once we have it live.)
