apmaTEC | CALL FOR TECHNOLOGY


The AVIN/APMA is seeking Calls for Technology proposals from Ontario’s Small and Medium size Enterprises (SME’s), as we equip our fleet of connected and autonomous vehicles with Canadian-built technology. The vehicles and their technology will be demonstrated to global OEMs and Tier 1 part suppliers in the SMART City of Stratford.

PROPOSALS

Over the course of the next five (5) years, the apmaTEC will have a fleet of twenty (20) vehicles which will include commercial buses, utility vehicles, minivans, SUVs, CUVs and Sedans. Each vehicle will have up to ten (10) pieces of connected/autonomous technology installed, and ready to be showcased to global OEMs and Tier 1-2 suppliers.

Company Eligibility Criteria

  • Small-to-Medium Sized Company (less than 500 employees AND less than $1 Billion in global revenue)
  • Company Operations based in Ontario
  • Commercial-ready technology – technology that is categorized as TRL Levels 7-9

Submission Process

The submission process includes the completion of the supplier agreement form, and the intake form. All documents and forms will be reviewed by the apmaTEC’s Advanced Technology Working Group (ATWG).

Submission Deadline

2018’s submission deadlines are:

  • Submission #1 deadline – Friday 28th September, 2018
  • Submission #2 deadline – Friday 14th December, 2018

Once the Intake Form and the AVIN APMA DZ Supplier Agreement are fully complete, send an email to cdhillon@apma.ca with the subject heading: apmaTEC Submission

Please allow at least one week prior to the submission deadline for the application to be reviewed for completeness.

Applications initiated less than one week prior to the deadline MAY NOT have sufficient time to be reviewed apmaTEC staff and then revised by re-submitted by applicant. Include relevant dates for Submission Process
