OTTAWA –Federal Conservatives say Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bears the blame for the “devastating” blow U.S. President Joe Biden delivered to Canada on his first day in office.

Flavio Volpe, head of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association, an industrial ally of the Liberals during the NAFTA renegotiations, said in an interview that it will be unquestionably easier for Trudeau to negotiate with Biden than Trump, who he called the “grifter-in-chief.”
